Camping at Home Valley

Set at the foot of the majestic Cockburn Range, Home Valley Station is the perfect base for travellers along the Gibb River Road exploring the stunning Kimberley region of Australia's north west.

Whether you're throwing out a swag for an evening under the stars or setting up camp for an extended stay, Home Valley Station invites you to enjoy the region's best and most extensive camping facilities.

We have powered and non-powered sites with amenities blocks equipped with hot showers and flush toilets. We also provide laundry facilities, a children's playground and a refreshing lagoon-style pool.

With more than three million acres of wilderness to explore, Home Valley Station invites you to settle in and discover Australia's last frontier.

If you want to be close to the Station action, you have the option of camping on the Homestead grounds, close to the famous Dusty Bar & Grill, Station Store, and free entertainment most nights on stage in the Dusty Bar or around the campfire.

Home Valley Station also provides camping at our Pentecost River Bush Camp, 4km from the Homestead, overlooking the mighty Pentecost River to the Cockburn Range. This picture perfect location is a must-see for all campers seeking the ultimate outback experience.

The River Camp is famous for its stunning sunsets over the Cockburn Range, abundance of wildlife and excellent fishing spots. It also offers bathroom facilities and shelters, like the Homestead campground.
